Most monitors either do gaming or sharp text well, not both. At 27 inches, the pixel density hits that sweet spot where Windows scaling isn't required but text still looks printed instead of pixelated.
The HDMI 2.1 ports mean PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can push 4K at high frame rates without the blurry compromises older HDMI forced. There's also USB-C that carries video, so laptop users can connect with one cable — though you'll still need a separate power brick since this port doesn't charge.
The HDR label is mostly decorative. Bright scenes look fine but won't deliver the punchy highlights real HDR gives.
